i ordered on 6/29 and got them on 7/5 on basic shipping. I live in TX too if that helps anyone.
oddly enough, no tracking number, no confirmation email....no anything.
From a previous post in this thread, you must actually visit the website's order status page, and enter in your order number to receive any tracking information. Glad to hear they arrived without incident, though.
I considered this deal quite a bit; however, in the end, the shipping and tax just seem to make nearly any deal for shoes originally priced under $90 not really worth it. I considered the Air Zoom Courtposites as well. So many other places had these particular shoes for cheaper that the "50% off" really didnt even approach the lowest price found. Example, Holabird (found
here. believe someone mentioned them earlier in this thread. have used them for years) carried these for $62.95, with a flat $4.95 shipping charge (regardless of how much you order); Finish Line (found
here) carries this shoe for $59.99, with $5.95 for shipping; and Midwest Tennis Shop (found
here) carries this particular show for $59.95, with $6.95 as their shipping charge. These are only a few examples, and all the above are the regular prices. I am certain there are coupons/discounts available, if one were to search.
In the end and after a bit of searching/comparison shopping, I found
Shoebuy to have excellent deals. They often send out coupon codes to their customer base (which can readily be found with a bit of searching), and do not charge shipping OR taxes. Ended up getting 30% off with two combinable offers, which when factored with the sans taxes and shipping made for quite a good deal.
The Footaction sale was valuable, however, if you happened to be in the market for shoes above $100.
