Read a thread on FW that it was only $50 with no rebate this week, so I went to the Cambridge, MA Store to get one.

Sure enough, the price tag read $49.99, $50 off the normal retail. I happily brought it to the register, but when the reciept was printing out, it also printed a mail-in rebate worth $30, bringing the total to $19.99!

SKU for the router is 4790676.

The sale isn't listed online at bestbuy.com or in this week's circular, and the rebate form says good for purchases from 3/18 to 3/22, so it's only the next few days. Offer # for the rebate is 35464.

Also, looks like the rebate is BB only, so maybe you could pricematch and get it for $20 out the door..

Hopefully the $30 rebate will print out, he is going to ask about it.
There is a $20 rebate on the buy.com website for this product... so $20 or $30 for this router is awesome either way.

Always a better deal as soon as you buy something. I got this last week with the $40 deal, just came today. I have to say this thing is awesome so far. I had a D-link router and it was just horrible, speeds dropped at least 1/3rd, with this thing I've actually never gotten such good speeds. Grab one, you'll like it

I too agree with the above post. this is a good solid unit. I bought the dlink 614+ first then the netgear 814 and set up the dlink first couldn't connect to it, so I set up the netgear, ran wizard and got linked immediately. of course I was using a netgear usb client too but that shouldn't make a difference they are all 802.11b compliant devices here..........

I think this is a competative pricematch with CC but I think they messed it up. Probably should have been $80 with a $30 MIR.

I can confirm it, it printed out at the register. Personally, I thought they were trying to clear out the 802.11B stuff to make way for 802.11G, but i'm no expert.

Dunno what the deal is with this one, but I can't find anything at the BB online rebate center, and the local BB dosen't know anything about it. So much for that... $50 still isn't a bad price, though! Anyone in Georgia actually get the rebate???
