Okay, I called up Amazon, and spoke with an extremely polite lady named Stephanie Gilbert in the Home Orders Department. She said that there's been a lot of calls about this problem, and that Amazon is going to extend the eipry date of the rebate. She said:
1. Include a note with your rebate that you recieved the product late, and was told that the rebate would be honored.
2. If by chance it isn't (beauracracy can get the best of things), call up Amazon and they will specifically take care of it.
3. If by chance it comes so late that your Netgear rebates are screwed up, still send them in and notify Amazon and they will work with you, and at last resort, cover the loss from the Netgear rebates for you.
