I could be wrong, but nikon's digital cams never come sealed in their boxes, maybe this was fixed recently with the newer 990 and 880. I've ordered a coolpix 800 from mobshop last March and one from staples.com about a month ago, both boxes were like this.
I ordered a Coolpix 800 from Staples a while back and it didn't come factory sealed so I assume that Nikon doesn't seal them. Then the 950 I received from Photoalley wasn't sealed so I wasn't to worried.
This is some s###. They updated the site to show the Coolpix 950 "In Stock". Yet tell me that mine that I ordered on 11/18 is back oerdered, can't they me when it will ship. Am I pissed.
So awesome. I ordered an 880 a while back with the $100 off and 20% msn so the total was $538. But, because of some of their internal error, they didn't ship it to me till yesterday and to make up for their mistake, they are sending me a complimentary 32 meg CF card!! What a deal!!!
got my n80 today retail box and nikkor lens,I wasn't sure if they would send me a 3rd party lens like some kits are.....man I'm spending $$$ like water
