nice find! i own the 950 and it is definitely awesome. the 995 is pretty much the same design, but with 3 megapixel CCD, 4x optical zoom, and USB (as opposed to 2 megapixel, 3x zoom, and serial on the 950).

Here is what I did:
Bought Coolpix 995 from Photoalley yesterday with my AMEX Blue for $800 free shipping
Will pricematch it with http://store.yahoo.com/royalcamera/nikcool99533.html at $685 when it comes in.
That way I am buying from respectable merchant and get the lowest price.
Now I need to sell my Fuji 4700...

buy it at Best buy and pm it with your amex blue, because BB doesn't pm online stores amex will. call and verify it!

If it is $899 at bestbuy plus tax that means the lowest price you'd be able to pricematch to will be about ~700 ($250 max pricematch with blue)
So it makes sense to buy it from online vendor cheaper and then get the full difference in price.
