I saw this last week on another deals site - I'm surprised this hasn't made it here already! Link Norelco 6826XL Quadra Action Shaving System (not a refurb), $69.99. According to the site, all prices include shipping to US postal addresses.
I have actually bought some DVDs from this seller (through eBay) and they took great care of me. They have lots of good feedback there, too, in case you're worried about buying from an unknown site.

This is a great shaver!

I own the top of the line model with digital display. Got it for Christmas in conjunction with another deal my wife got here.
This shaver retails for $130 and I haven't found it for cheaper than $98 online.

Snag this deal if you need a good shaver.

I've got this shaver and am very happy with it. It comforms to your face and I get really close shaves - can't tell the difference between a shave with this and my mach 3.

How well does it shave on the neck and jaw area? I just bought a Panasonic ES7017S one from Amazon's Gold Box but if this is better I suppose I can return it.

Anyone knows how it compares?

I've been using a Quadra Action shaver for about 2 yrs and really like it. So, I saw this deal last week and bought it. Was delivered via USPS priority mail. This shaver is quiet and shaves closer than any other Norelco. But let's face it, it doesn't shave closer than a manual razor like a Mach 3, especially around the neck and chin area. If you haven't used this shaver before, it usually takes about 2 weeks to feel comfortable shaving with it.

I really could use a new razor & I have always liked norelco rotary models. I was all set to order one, but I noticed the page where credit card information is entered is NOT a secure site. :Q

Maybe I will wait untill tomorrow & call them to order.

Serious question -- Is anyone here raving about this shaver not caucasian? I bought this exact shaver and did everything according to the instructions (actually gave it more than 2 weeks to allow my skin to acclimate), but I could not get a close shave. Not to mention the fact that shaving with this thing took FOREVER each morning! Note that I've always used a blade in the past (Sensor Excel, Mach 3, etc.)

Now it's sitting in the back of my closet gathering dust....

Are you sure about that? I just double checked, since I've only ordered from them through ebay, and I got a secure page when I went to check out. In fact, this is a Yahoo store so you can be pretty much certain that your information is secure.

Optical - stick with the Panasonic. Much closer shave than the Norelco, I owned the Norelco for two years, been using the Panasonic two days in the shower. They are not even comparable. I think this is the first time in 4 years I've had a complete shave that did not leave stubble with a electric razor.

Thanks, it will be here in a few days and can't wait to give it a try. I've never had a wet electric shaver before. I was a bit concern since I couldn't any reviews on the Panasonic and it seems like Amazon is only place that sells it. Speaking of Gold Box, while doing a search on google, it led me to the Gold Box link directly. I wonder if it's due to the cookie in my system. Weird.

Anyone know if you can replace the battery? I have the 5845XL Reflex Action and the battery can not be replaced. So now that it can't hold a charge I have to use it plugged in. Sucks that I have 2 extra sets of blades too.

I think that really depends on which yahoo store you're talking about. There is not just one yahoo store - anyone can open a storefront through yahoo to sell their wares. Some are better than others...for example, J&R Music World is, oddly, a yahoo store. They are extremely reliable. In any case, that's why I mentioned this store's reputation on ebay, since yahoo does not have a similar ranking system.

a couple of weeks ago, i picked up a quadra from my local costco for either $69 or $79 (i can't remember). it was the model that has the lights for 20, 40, 60, 80, or 100% battery all in a row. i don't have the model number with me now, but i don't think that it was the same model number as is out on most of the websites now, so it might have been last year's model. so far, i like it better than any norelco that i have ever had because it doesn't seem to hurt my face like the others i've owned. interestingly, it doesn't have the same 1-9 "closeness" setting that i've had on my other ones, yet i think it does a better job at cutting (at least now -- maybe because it is new).

i bought the panasonic 8003 when it was for 129. i havent used the norelco but the definitely if you have been using a mach 3 before, you probably wont be happy with ANY electric razor. Its better than the braun that i had before but i still need to use the mach 3 to finish off at the end. Doesnt make a difference since i make the razor last really long.

Holy cow, my Panasonic shaver from Amazon came in 3 days with the free shipping deal! Anyway, here's my first impression of the Panasonic for those that may come across this with the Gold Box deal. It got very close shave on the first attempt. I've been a Remington user for the years and noticed this one does a better job on the first attempt. It's a light weight and has a nice grip on your hand. For $55 shipped, you may want to check this one out as well.
