The $15 off 50 code expired on yesterday. You'll have to use a different code like the 20 of 75...

Edit: My mistake, I think the 15 of 50 has been extended again, so it's still valid...

This is just too good a deal to pass up...I hopped on it. I'm hoping I have better luck with this PNY rebate as the last one I did I got the dreaded..."you didn't supply the correct UPS..."When I know I did and of course I didn't make a copy of it either...

Got it. Took work, though. Checkout kept rejecting my order because 'there is no backorder on pickup items'. Apparently my local store is OOS. Had to delete cookies and re-enter all the data. Finally found the memory by using the 'Order By Item#' function. Final cost: $22.69.

You guys are leaving money on the table. The first thing you do is ask OD to PM CC and that will get the price down to $54.95. (PNY 256MB DDR in current CC flyer for $54.95) Then comes the $15 coupon and $25 rebate for a net of $14.95!!!

Don't let the backorder scare you off. Go to BM and there's plenty in stock even though the website shows BO.

$14.95 ain't bad but I prefer "net to frees"!!

Since OD if a totally seperate PNY offer # than BB than you're not really combining offers. You are simply taking advantage of 2 seperate rebate programs.

At least that's my interpretation. Does anyone know what this "combining offer" limitation really means??

Where are the B&M coupons??? I found the online codes but I wanna get and get them from the store myself. Can you use more than one online coupon with your order??

You can phone in the order, use the online coupon and ask to pickup at a retail store.

I got two. One has Infereon chips, the other is Elixer. I am running Infereon one at 147mhz on a K7s5a, seems to be stable under prime95. Haven't try the Elixer yet.

It looks like people are getting Spectec, Infineon, Mosel-Vitalic, and Elixir. Neither one of these can overclock much so you get what you pay for. Nothing like Samsung that was available at Best Buy a week ago.

guys,

where can i print out the office depot coupon....

note: i found the coupon using the link provided by MAYAN! Thanks!!

but i need to print it out with the coupon _details_ i.e. fine print - so i can redeem it at a local store

the store manager wants to see the coupon details - so he can give me the deal

(one wonders why an office depot b&m needs verification of their own coupons!)

anyways long and short of it - if i print out the coupon i get the discount - else nada!

any help anyone ?

and of course thanks to may for the cool deal!!

well, if you're not going to OC then elixirs are fine...and though I knew i'd get better performance by upgrading my memory, the difference is highly noticeable (though for some reason my CinemaCraft encoding speeds have dropped by 0.25 realtime...)

I scored one of the only two at the B&M OD in University area in Charlotte NC. Only had two and both were elixers' so I only got one. I am thinking about taking it back to BB and exchanging it for a Samsung stick
Only problem is I bet they cancel my rebate on that reciept............oh well

ok got the deal with a circuit city pm...

so here's the deal on the CC PM - I called office depot on the phone and they said they dont PM circuit city cos they're not a competitor []

but then i called the local store and funnily enough the manager said sure - we'll PM cicruit city....

to cut a long story short....got the memory for $43.xx - 20 Rebate (to be mailed in) = 23.xx

thanks a ton guys.

ps: it was exilir - but not bad for 23 bucks tho.

so what is the deal with exilir anyways ???? anyone ???

hey thanks may for the deal!
also thanks henny for the circuit city pm!!

EDIT: I mean 43.xx - 25$ mail in rebate = 18.xx

sweet, goes good with the best buy version of this deal I got
last week for $30 after mir.
768 ddr - total investment= $37 (crucial deal when it was cheap)+$30 (BB) + $25 (OD) = $92

I got Elixir. For $28.49 it's all good, though. I mean, this stuff is $67.49 at Crucial now. Crucial may overclock better, but I can buy twice as much of this memory and still have an Alexander Hamilton ($10) in my pocket! And, it's not like this is a no-name manufacturer. They might be Elixir chips, but PNY put it together and they give you a lifetime warranty. IMO, this deal rocks! Thanks may!

How could you pricematch to CC if you are getting the DDR? My CC ad only shows SDRam.

Dude before you shoot off - try multiple sources first....for instance the CircuitCity online store...

Here's the URL: CircuitCity PNY 2100 DDR Link

Hope the link works what with all the cookies and all....

If it doesnt just search for:

PNY Technologies 256MB PC-2100 DDR Memory Module
Brand/Model: PYT D256M6421OPT

and you should see it for $54.99 - use that to PM against Office Depot.

Of course call ahead and make sure the local store will PM CC - the 800 number folks wouldnt match with CC...(go figure!)

Anyways i printed out the circuit city info and took it to the store...the clerk there tried to stall me - 'Oh Circuit City opens at 10:00 am - we need to call and check etc etc..' Of course I was going to have none of it! ;-)

And i walked out with $18 worth of prime time memory (ok ok its only exlir!)

So, does the mail in rebate work if you order online and have it shipped? The rebate is not clear, it says 'purchases made at office depot'. Without further clarification, it seems they could use that as an excuse to deny a rebate.

Thanks!

Hrmphhh, must be out of stock. Searching on the product # yields nothing, and searching on "PNY" shows no DDR memory chips. Oh well.
