got in earlier today. has anyone gotten a confirmation email? I did it real quick and ordered without making an account because i wanted to get the order in ASAP. Got in for $33.60 and wrote down the order number figuring the details of the order would be emailed to me like usual but they haven't yet.

tried checking the order status online but without an account it only tells you when youplaced the order and the order status which is Open right now.

From experience, I think CompUSA takes awhile to send you a confirmation letter.

I think HL2 will be bundled with ATi 9800 XT videocards on Sept 30. Unless you want to buy the videocard, you have to wait until November for the retail stores to get HL2. Over the inquirer.net, there was an article about ATi paying a cool $6 million (or more) to Valve for this bundle. But this is a good deal.

This doesn't work for some games. I ordered a bunch. The ones that didn't work:

Doom3
$50-20%=$40+$9 overnight shipping

Lomac
$40-20%=$32+$9 overnight shipping

So with those 2 you basically get overnight shipping free. Not great, but better than anything else right now. They didn't have Max Payne 2

Actually 5 days early lol. I got in on this deal, just at 42 dollars though, still a good deal.

I didn't get a cancelation email. Mabe they sold out. At least at that price.

Well it's still in my account listed under 'Open Orders' for $31.99. But now I'm wondering how long it will be till they start to cancel all of our orders due to their incompetence?? And for anyone who's wondering they killed the 20%+20% off error around 6 Pm last night.

I just went back to their site, and it looks like you can't even 'buy' the HL2 for pre-order now. But still, for $40 w/ Overnight shipping, thats a pretty good deal! Not as Molten Lava Hot as with 40% off, but still nice.
