Same here, from what I see my Geforce4 Ti4200 will barely chug out even close to 70fps at some medium settings. Also the ATI card will rule HalfLife 2 if you guys guys have read any of those articles on how badly Nvidia cards are doing with Halflife 2.

I did that too. I convinced them to give me rain checks for 2 of them since they were out. When they came in I was able to get 2 and get them changed to $80 each. One of the best deals I've ever gotten. Plus those WD SE drives are some of the few IDE ones with 3 year warranty now.

Yeah man, from now on I'll never buy another HD with a lame ass 1-Year warranty. Only 3 or 5 year for me. But that was a killer deal. And back then that was bout 3 weeks before I put together my new IC7/P4 system and I thought that the drive space of that WD drive plus the 80Gig Maxtor drive I had would be enough to last me well until the end of next year or beyond. Yeah right!! This ain't gonna happen especially on day's like today when I download 2.184GB of stuff in the last 9 hours or so.

Just thought I'd add a bit more. As for the HD prices, there will be a endless # of IDE deals for a while. I think the next one I get will be at least a 200GB drive and maybe SATA..............
