If you want to play your pc games like Simpsons Hit and Run or Prince of Persia with a controller, or you just want to play emulated PSX games like I do I highly recommend these controllers. It's also alot better than spending 12$ for a PSX to PC adaptor.

They're molded like exact replicas of playstation controllers and have all the same buttons, but they use USB. I got two for my HTPC, and they're awesome.

9.99$ with free shipping at Best Buy

Hmm, if you ask me, it's not that h0t considering the controller isn't that comfy compared to Sony's and doesn't support 'rumble'. Still if you want something that'll work well, it's not bad.

I mostly use Gravis Gamepad Pros, but that one looks pretty cool for $10. I'll have to go to the store to check it out. I'll skip it If it's poorly made.

The Soyo KiKY-X adapters are only $9.99 normally at Fry's. I also have one of those to use a PS2 controller. I hate to buy one for each PS2 controller, though. I wish they at least made a dual version or a multi-tap for their adapter.

How comfortable is this controller? I assume it has the cheap, "hard plastic" feel to it?

Regardless, I'll probably go to BB to check this out.

if u already have a ps2 or ps controller and want to use it on ur pc u can purchase one of these usb adaptors from fry's/outpost for $12.99, it supports the vibration feedback also. i bought one last month for need for speed: underground, and prince of persia: sands of time and they have worked for me.

Nice deal. Personally though, you can't beat official Sony controllers. That's why I have a PS to USB converter I bought at Radio Shack for $10. Also, the D-pad just doesn't do it for me in that picture. Whatever happened to the D-pad of the NES days or the Japanese Saturn pad? Now if they only had a converter for Saturn to PC.

i would say unless u r a cheapskate don't bother with this controller. I picked one up from my local bestbuy store around xmas, same price as now. The controller felt very cheap, and i just didn't like it compared to the PS pad.

In the end i returned it, and spent another $5 on an open box gravis eliminator pad (force feedback), and got a $10 mail in rebate for my troubles aswell (which BB do not advertise).

Where did you get the dual joybox converter from for only $6? Got a link?

I'm a newbie at game controllers and need some help. I plugged in the controller and Windows XP recognized it as a USB Joystick. Is that correct?

When I try to calibrate it does not recognize the analog joysticks. If I push the mode button it recognizes the joystick but the direction pad is now disabled.

No drivers came with the gamepad (not a surprise) and the www.gamersfactory.com website has no support info for this model.

Your insight is greatly appreciated.

thanks,
Pigseye

I remember looking at dual analog controllers at bestbuy for simpsons hit and run. I remember seeing that they had these 9.99$ dual analog usb controllers just sitting there but I decided on the logitech dual action for 10$ more. I might go back and pick up one of these controllers in case I ever get TMNT.

Which is better for simpsons hit and run? One of these controllers, a PS2 controller with an adapter, or a force feedback steering while like one of the logitechs?

Thanks!

I'm not a gamer nor have I used PS or XBOX controllers before but I like the controller. Other game controllers I use are the Microsoft FF steering wheel, Logitech FF Joy stick, and the MS sidewinder.

Sure it's made of cheap plastic but it works fine for my use (madden 2004). As a cheap dual analog starter controller its a great way to see if you like the layout and feel.

The big bonus for me is $10 OTD, NO REBATES! If it was instock online when I bought that would have been even better since shipping was free. This is a big deal when it's -5 degrees! and when can you get a $10 item shipped to you for free?

Besides, what do you expect for $10? Oh yeah, almost forgot I was a AT'er. Free baby, free!

Thanks OP,
Pigseye
