scored one earlier this morning as well, but when i check back OD's site after 3 hours, it's now oos.

i have a tip for the people that are going to the "store pickup";

grab a OD in store ad and go buy those "speical pen sale" at the first page, where says: buy $10 and up to receive $10 OD gift card. ring up w/ two transactions and then u get yourself a $10 gift card to use, then apply that $10 gift card towards your online order (pny ddr), it worked out great for me, as i only paid an extra $1.55 for two pens. good luck guys!

I just placed an order. I added the paper clips for $20 cents. Crazy thing is, OD will be shipping these items seperate. The paper clips will be shipping to me on the 18th, while the memory ships on the 20th. I chose the COD method (which I do whenever we order office supplies). My order shows that on the paper clip delivery, I owe them (1.10), which is negative $1.10. On the memory delivery, I owe them $36.79.

Seems a bit crazy to have a box of paper clips delivered to you and then you are given $1.10. LOL Anyone else have this crazy shi$ happen?

BTW Does anyone know how PNY memory rates to Crucial memory? Will I have any problems adding a stickof this to my exisiting 256mb Crucial?

I always send a copy of the typed print out they give you. I have them stamp the copy with a store stamp.

Shouldn't be much of a problem mixing, but it really depends on your mobo. I've mixed DDR Crucial and PNY (Spectek chips) on a Shuttle AK31a board without a problem.

In terms of how it rates, this memory will do fine for you unless you plan on OC'ing. My new 512mb PNY PC133 doesn't run as well as the 256mb Crucial PC133 I had before in terms of speed and oc.

PNY memory can vary quite a bit based on which chips it uses, which might even vary based on region. I would expect it to run fine at default speeds (unless your particular mobo has it's own set of "issues") but since PNY now sells PC2700 too it might be a bit of a stretch to expect much o'c.

Edit: I gladly appear to be wrong, reports so far are of 6ns chips ~ PC2700
