I have this monitor and it works great! (no dead pixels either).
I bought my DVI cable for $13.50 at buy.com

Just got the monitor today. Not too shabby I guess, the image quality seems to be pretty decent in analog mode. I haven't had a chance to try it out in digital mode, but from what I heard so far, the quality should improve somewhat. Guess I'll find out when I get the DVI cable. Even as it is right now, it's still worth the $ IMHO.

I'd think you would need a KVM switch, because even though it has both inputs, how would you switch between them?

It should auto detect which input the signal is comming from. Otherwise, it will have a switch (a-b).

i ordered my computer parts a while back from new egg at my parents house in west covina, and didnt realize that they were so close by...I could have saved myself a hundred bucks if i had picked it up directly. has anyone ever tried doing this with an online store?

Could anyone point me to a cheap cable that I could use to run the monitor via DVI? Thanks, the one from buy.com is only EXTENSION cord, had to find out the hard way :|

Rhombuss, I bought this monitor too, excellent image quality and an awesome monitor for the price! DVI input and USB hub too. I'm very happy with it. Bright, vivid colours and crips text. And I'm using it with analog input right now, waiting for my DVI cable to arrive.
