They have the other model that comes with a car adpater but no batteries. That still goes for $39.99.

Had one with the car cord in my hand and noticed it had the SKU#284028. Took it to the register and the clerk scanned it instead of checking the SKU on the label. It registered $39.99 --- told him that a sales guy looked up the SKU and it came up $9.99, but no dice, he wouldn't go for it.

oh well.....maybe next time.

Here's what I saw at my local store.

There were about 8 of the ps4-b chargers, but each of them had another sticker placed on the blister pack. Underneath this sticker was the original upc (inside the blister pack)

The new stickers called the item ps4-bsh. I don't think there is such a thing. Anyway, the sku was also changed.

the SH has the car kit, the PS4-B is discontinued and thats why we are getting this price, i had A LOT of trouble and eventually ended up walking away empty handed. I called and spoke to the manager lodged a complaint and he was very helpful and is even giving me the item for free. I suggest if you are having trouble to try and speak to a manager also.

Well when I looked on the insert of the blister pack, it was called a PS4-B, which does come with the car cord and adapter -- see here and here

Nowhere can I find any information on a ps4-bsh.

Anyway, good for you getting one for free I was considering ripping off the upc on top, but I didn't have the stones.

The Nimh ones are better than the alkalines. I still prefer the Energizers.

No. The evidence is that slower charging is better, but fast charging with a smart circuit is not "very bad".

I have this charger with Energizer 1850mah batteries. Works REAL nice. Fast charge, and seems to hold a charge better than alaklyne batteries in my digital camera.
