I've been using it for quite sometime and couldn't be happier. I bought an open box one from my local bb(with significant savings) that ended up dying shortly after. I returned it and the gave me a brand new one to replace it.

Went to my local one (Logan, Utah). They were on clearance, and they had plenty on the shelf, but they were $56.99. I thought about getting one at that price, but then I thought about the g15 and I couldnt.

I got one in Baldwin, NY for $18.99 tonight. I had looked to see where local Best Buy stores were located before I left for work this morning. Then, I forgot all about it. On my way home I was going to get some Chocolates from a store that makes chocolates on premesis and I ended up driving past Best Buy. Bing! The light came on in my head.

So, I saw four on the shelf and called (2) of my friends, neither of whom wanted one. I bought one for my son and left (3) on the shelf. Total price less then $21 out the door.

I should mention that I almost bought a new Nostromo N52 while I was there. Some keys on mine seem to not 'stand-up' anymore. Perhaps I'll take it apart and have a look one of these days.

I didn't like it at all ... keys were heavy to press & positioned too close together although it did have a high-quality feel to it ... of course I paid $60 & for $18 I would have liked it a lot better !!!

The first one I got was defective so I exchanged it at Circuit City ... second one eventually developed the same problem (keys appeared to stick at random) so I RMA'ed to to Razor & replaced it with a Saitek Eclipse 2 ... got a brand-new model back from RMA & sold it on FS/FT.

Here's another vote for Saitek Eclipse. I have the "Executive" one for more than two years now, and I'm very happy with it. What I really like about this keyboard is that it's very easy to disassemble completely and clean every single part. I literally wash it with soap and hot water, and I scrub it too. After every wash, the keyboard looks like new again and works like a new one too. The paint on the keys is very resilient, after many washes it didn't fade a bit. Anyone who comes to my house comments on the awesome "blue light between keys".

This keyboard doesn't have any fancy bells and whistles but other than that it's the best keyboard I ever owned.

The Brown Deer store in Milwaukee has 2 left at $18.99. I snatched one up, but I don't know if I'll keep it. I have an Everglide DKT coming and I might end up keeping that.

As for Saitek, my current keyboard is an Eclipse II, and it's already failing to register different keys reliably 2 months after I purchased it. It gets a big thumbs down from me.

Ditto or if you can meet me in Manhattan NYC even better. I'll pay more then what it cost you, just not over double... I'm not even sure if I want this keyboard from the reviews it got, especially if the audio and mic ports are useless which is a big reason why I was interested in this. Newegg just put these at $69.99 free shipping. I still dont think I would do that but if I did at least that one is returnable.

Well, I went to a couple of bestbuys in my area. Seems that ouf the 10 or so bestbuys, 6 of them have it for the 18.99 price and the other 4 don't. Of course, The ones that have it for the 18.99 price are completely sold out and the ones that don't have 6 to 12 of them. So basically, tomorrow, I'm going to a store that has one, buying it for the crappy full price, and then going to a store that has it marked cheaper and then having them either price adjust OR return it to that store and re buy it
