I own the 12x4x32. It is a decent drive. Built by Sanyo and includes Burn-Proof, as others have noted. The 12x10x32 is the rebadged Plextor.

I bought the 12x10x32 from Fry's when they were $50 - $50 MIR. These are Burnproof, but I haven't checked if they are rebadged Plextors.

Some of these drives are plextor, some are sanyo. I suspect that most are sanyo since I hear of a lot more issues with the sanyos than the plextor. I.E.- pepople returned them, or sent them back. I got one of these a while back( not refurb) from BB for $100. I got a rebadged plextor, and it works great. I think maybe that the sanyo's are the 12x4x32, but not sure. Mine is the 12x10x32 and it has burnproof.

None of these drives are Plextor's. The 12x4x32 are all Sanyo's. The 12x10x32 are plextors but there were never any 12x10x32 drives for sale on this page. Stop confusing people. These drives are rebadged Sanyo-BP990P drives with BurnProof (note the BP in BP900P - that would stand for burnproof). The iomega website says they have burnproof as well, why is this difficult for some people to understand?

Can someone please tell me how to find the CD/RW drives on the Iomega Site. I use the link listed by
the Original thread. I havnt been able to find the CD/RWs.
I found the factory outlet but that is as far as I got. I did find some refurbished drives,but no CDs.
Appreciate any help. There has been lots of people that found it.but I guess I am too unformed to locate
the CDs.

I talked to Iomega CSR earlier today and they said they were out of stock of both burners and would not be getting any more.

Luden - did the CSR mean that they wouldn't be getting any more drives but that existing orders would be fulfilled? I was able to get an order in last week and received a confirmation email, but my order status at Iomega has not changed from "submitted".

That is debatable. I bought the same drive a little over a year ago and then a month after the warrantee expired it went bad. I wouldn't touch a refurb drive.
