Wouldn't it be $7.50?

A 25$ certificate is sold for 10$ at restaurant.com
70% off that is $3

You typically need to spend a certain amount (ie spend $50 to get $25 off). Also, really popular restaurants are not likely to be listed. It's still a fantastic deal if you find a restaurant you like.

restriction usually includes valid on Sunday-Thursday or Mon-Fri; and 18% tip is added.

There are only 3 places within 15 miles of here..I've eaten at one and it was good. The other two are expensive higher-end restaurants..maybe now I can afford to go..haha

Can you use more than one gift certificate at a time?

Edit - heh, that's probably a stupid question, after seeing all of the minimum purchase BS I think it's pretty safe to assume that you can only use one at a time.

lets say one of the restaurants has a $35 minimum + 18% tip = $41.30

with the gift card: $41.30 - $25 = $16.3 for the meal if your bill comes out to $35.

Actually $19.30 (you paid $3 for the gift card).

I have used these in the past. At the nicer restaurants they pretty much mean you save the cost of the tip. Still, not a bad deal if you were going to eat there anyway.

It's like getting $22 off your bill.

Ask your server before the meal if they take it. When you get your check, just put it in the billfold with payment.

You can only use 1 per restaurant per 30 days. You can use different a different coupon in a different restaurant, just not the same one for 30 days.

You cannot combine coupons even if you split a check. 1 person per party may use a coupon.

From personal experience, I eat out a lot in NYC manhattan (4-5 nights a week). Most place I eat are about $20-35 plates, $80-100 per 2. Restaurant.com had a huge selection of very good places in all different price ranges. Most of the coupons can be used on a bill $35-50 or higher which is easy. They do an automatic gratuity but it is modest. I usually add 5% if service was decent. Anything higher end like nobu, jean george, modern, you don't need a coupon for cuz if you do, you can't afford the place.

this is a great deal but there are no places in my area. only 4 within 30 miles.

seems like it would be better suited for those in big cities. not those of us in smalltown USA.

Great deal, basically saves $22. Get coupons instantly by printing from web site. Also can use PayPal. Some good restaurants are listed near my home. May try one today.

yea heh... I was reminded to start eating at home. I actually like cooking too but I been getting home like 11pm+ almost every night and this area has such great restaurants. I think I have had 1 home cooked meal like once a month... Other 2-3 nights I don't eat at restaurants, I been ordering in. New brick oven pizza place opened up near me... smokey crust, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, ...game over man.

Yea restaurant week is amazing. $20 (lunch) to $35 (Dinner) for usually a 3 course prix fixe menu. Usually would be 2-3x more money at those places. It's a great way to experience fine NYC dining at budget prices.
