I liked both Civ 1 & 2 but thought Civ3 was a big disappointment. How does this compare?

Civ games are turn based, aren't they? Rise of nations is like Age of Empires 2 on crack.

It might still be in their computer. They can usually look up your purchase via phone number if you gave them a correct one.

This is realtime, not like civ which is heavily turn based. This game does incorporate a lot of awesome elements tho. You cant just send out 100 guys to collect resources, theres a ecconomical cap you hit where you have to research to improve it. In the same right, you can not just go out and build 50 towns, you need to do civic reasearch to be able to build an additional town. It makes for a much more balanced game. Also, lots of buildings can only be build once per town, so that you can not have unbalanced resource gathering in your hardest to get to town...

Sometimes its really funny if you manage to advance much quicker than your adversaries .... ive been using helicopters,planes and nukes on guys with muskets before.....

I think their policy is that you can return stuff without a recipt, and you get back the price which is the lowest in 30 days or 90 days or so.... which doesn't help in this case, unless you wanna save $2-3 for 1) PM to CC from BB, and then 2) Go back to CC to return your game... Which I think may not be worth it.
