Not a hot deal.
I would like to take this back,
Only because of a discussion I had with a classmate today.
I've come to realize that regardless of whether the war is just or not, our troops still deserve our support.
It is not their fault if (I feel) our leadership is putting their lives on the line without exhausting all other options.
After all, they are still putting their lives on the line for us to do what is told to them as being the best thing for us as a country to do.
Sorry if I offended anyone.
God (or Allah, whatever you wanna use) Bless America.
OK I'm gonna go and get in on this deal now...
Personally, I do not agree in principle with supporting troops whether or not a war is just or not.
Troops should be given full support ONLY when a war is "just" - not when some politician deems it to be beneficial to his or her goals.
If you feel that this potential war is truly "just" (and I'm not judging!) then this may well be a hot deal.
Soldiers ALWAYS have an option when going to war - they do not have to follow orders - as adequately demonstrated by the Iraqi troops in the Gulf War Part I.
Blind allegiance is contrary to a free society IMHO.
Lets just hope that whatever the outcome, things DO goto plan and casualties are kept to the very minimum.
