Nope but it shipped Saturday 7/20 and it should arrive anyday now. I got even more excited last night when I was checking Dell Dimension 4500 prices and accidentally discovered that the 4500 comes with 6 USB2.0 ports, woohoo!

I was worried that another great deal might come along but that hasn't happened yet (even with this 10% off coupon) my total was $568 after eBates and $100 MIR with free shipping and I didn't get the barebones I got a 1.8, 128MB RAM, 40GB, 64MB GF2, 16x DVD, 24x CD-RW, XP Home, no modem, no NIC, etc. Once I get it I'll reformat the hard drive, install XP Pro then I should be good to go.

It'll be nice having a QUIET PC

heh, anyway im not buying 8 of these, as i had ordered my parts last week after debating of whehter or not to buy or build for teh office.

after the warrenty and monitor, it came out to about 7 grand for 8 of them, even after all the coupons. the rebates were useless since a limit of 5 machines, and since i was going with 256ram anyway, i elected that versus the rebate.

my total cost including monitor, computer, keyboard, os, and works 2002 (which is what we were going tog et) is about $500 per machine.

still, this deal is hot !

Hmm, maybe things have changed. The best I'm doing so far on a Dimension 4500 desktop with P4-1.8GHz, 128MB DDR, 20GB, 48x Max CD-ROM drive [don't see a FREE 24x/10x/40 CDRW as that adds $50 (or 16x DVD which adds $30), XP Home is $589 before adding coupon. So for me so far it's $20 more and no free CDRW! Was the free CDRW a limited offer or am I missing another coupon?

Am contemplating the free Largan Chameleon Mega digital instead of the mono PDA as I never use my original Palm any more and I don't have a digital camera.

Eeerp! Should have refreshed while checking out Bens Bargains, techbargains.com and the Dell site, as several others have said the same thing about the deal not being quite the same any more. Oh well, they'll always be another deal around the corner!
