Are you sure these are that quiet? I know the Pabst 8412NGL is super quiet but can not find the ratings on this one.

This place has lots of other good fans. They have some cheap 120 mm deltas for $4 and the shipping is only like $6 for 8 fans which is a reasonable price.

Anyone ever think, that maybe the reason they are superquiet is because they would be running a 24v unit at 12v? You can quiet any fan by running it under spec... the only problem is that performance is cut also.

Guys, this monitor is a hot deal. This is the same Sony tube/monitor that Dell uses and sells for around $800. IMO, those Dell monitors are the best they've had.

Here are some important things about it:

1. It's not a fixed frequency monitor, which is good.
2. It has dual inputs and according to the guy I just spoke to (very nice BTW), it has the ability to switch between two different computers (like the high-end Sony branded monitors and my own FW900).
3. It's near flat-screen. I'm not sure if it's completely flat, but it's a good screen nonetheless.
4. Shipping is around $40, which makes the total around $340.

I think I'm going to get me one of those.

Well, it's performance is cut alright. It throws out only ~19 CFoAM. However, it is a LOT more silent than any other 8cm fan I've seen. This is great for a PSU or just to cool HDDs.

I think this heatsink might be good for cooling chipsets:
Item ES2277 Heatsink

114 In Stock.
Unit Price $1.50 each

(a little large, but a hacksaw will fix that!)

Igobyte , when you talked to the guy did he tell you if they were new, used, or refurbed?

Also, after looking at all the resolutions and refresh rates, I'm not sure what to make of the graphics mode settings. If this thing can run games and my desktop at 1280 with 85hz refresh, I may have to hop on this as well.

But if u need 92MM, or 120MM fan. Can't beat this price of $4, $5.

I think Item ES2382,
Delta Fan 12V 0.08A Model ASB0912L 92mm X25mm $4.00 each is very good , 0.84W, 2100rpm, 37cfm, 25dBA.
nice quiet fan!

Well, I guess you could get 24 volts in your computer case by tapping into your mobo connector and using -12v and +12v. Although I have no idea what this would do for your stability.

The Delta 120mm fan #WFB1212LE is a winner. UP to 84 CFM and only 34DBA. Very good for a 120.
AND the voltage can be played with to lower the #'s (noise) a tad.

I really like throwing these into the front of my cases (after moding). I find it actually much less noisy than installing (3) or so smaller fans.

This Delta looks like a nice fan. I usually use the Panaflow 120mm fans.. but will give these a try.

Thanks for the post.
