I was told that hot swap bays will cut my drive speed in half. I bought a Thermaltake Level 210 Snow Edition case that has 5 hot swap bays. and 3 spare 5.25 inch bays.
I have three 6 gb/s drives and have read that most 3 gbps cables transfer data every bit as fast as 6 gbps cables in tests. Would how the drives are cabled or bay construction slow drives down or am I being mislead?
