i was at the anaheim store, and i saw 3 nerds trying get these speakers...

then i was at the long beach store, and i saw people trying to find these speakers too....

i had ordered 2 for pickup at the long beach store, and i got the last two -- when the guy brang them out for me, everyone wanted them...but they were mine!

just picked mine from the Elcamino Real store in Santa Clara, i reserved one for instore pick-up, but when i got there and was abt to park my car, a CSR from the store called me said that they dont have anymore instock, and that the computer was messed up and that it's not showing the correct number of stock left!!! damn was i disappointed, but she told me to go inside anyway and she'll check which store has them in stock.....i went inside and the CSR was there waiting with the speakers, she said that she just found the very last one ...phewwww...
speakers are not bad at all for $40, and they are definitely more powerful that the yamahas

for those who already got the speakers, is yours configured correctly?? mine is a little weird, i have to swap the connectors, white connector to red, and red to white, im using nFroce control panel from my mobo to verify which one is left and right and sure they are mixed up

I didn't get in on this deal cuz it didn't have free shipping, but with 25% off, this set drops to $30 and even I can't resist the thought of a $30 set of loud assed speakers no matter how ugly they are(and they ARE ugly).

Ugh...If I score these it's another year of lugging ultra heavy speakers to campus. *sigh* And I've already bought the Yamahas. Garrghhh

My is doing the same thing... I have a SBlive! card. I have to swpa the Right and Left connectors (output to speakers) to get the right left and right sound.
