ok this is how i got it

1. close IE
2. Start IE
3. Delete Cookies and Delete files
4. Close IE
5. Open IE
6. Goto www.bestbuy.com
7. Goto Digital Camera Page
8. Click on rt column ad...talks abt great offers
9. Wait till pop-up opens
10. Close all IE pages
11. Open IE
12. Goto www.bestbuy.com
13. Goto Digital Camera page
14. Click on the ad which now says $5 off
15. If it still says great offer...click on it again...wait for popup goto step 10.
16. click on $5 ...popup opens saying u got $5 if u login or register.
17. do the needful

if something goes wrong...start with step 1 or step 10. whichever applies to you

Well if FINALLY worked for me, but alas not for the Matrix Reloaded DVD. I couldn't select the in-store pickup option for the DVD (as it will take FOREVER to get it with their free shipping. In the past, it usually takes two weeks for a movie/game to get to me.) So I removed the DVD from my cart and then added some cables I need to hook up my new Audigy 2 ZS card to my receiver. Still $5 off is NICE!!

But I had to try like 4 or 5 times to get it to work, and if your having problems I don't think just clearing out your cookies will do it.

HERES HOW TO REALLY GET IT TO WORK:

1. Close out all BestBuy web browsers
2. Go to the Search function. Browse to your Temporary Internet Files. In XP Usually C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files Then look for any 'bestbuy' files. About 4 temp BB files came up and I had to delete them one by one.
3. Clear out all cookies.
4. Then log back on and try again with THIS LINK. It finally worked for me after I removed the BB files in the Temp Internet folder.

So much work/hassle for a 'measly' $5 BOTOH, when your buying a $15 DVD or such, it's pretty nice. The only downside now is that I lost about 15-20 cached username/password combos for different sites; O well!

it doesnt work for me.

I already created 2 accounts with the same result. After account is created, I select MATRIX dvd (or Scarface) and when I go to checkout it lists regular price except with the Free Shipping but otherwise no $5 off.

if the promo isnt working for you, just call in after you order and tell them you clicked it etc and they can apply the $5 off to your credit card, apparently they are aware that the promo is not working for a lot of people...
