I was considering it, no reason it wouldn't work. But with my luck it would be longer than 30 days by the time they ship it.

The problem with trying to return Matrix is that the internal security tag will ring when you enter BB. Also, the SKU's on the plastic wrap might be different than the SKU's on the actual product. There would be some inconsistency.

I just dont' want to miss out on the extra free DVD. Hopefully the online BB will deliver that as well.

Really the '3rd EXTRA BONUS SPECTACULAR GIVE-AWAY PRIZE' DVD is nothing more than re-packaged stuff you could get else where; either on-line from the official site, or from the 1st movie. Here is exactly what is on the 3rd DVD: Matrix 1 Theatrical trailer; What is Bullet time (from the M1 DVD); The Second Renaissance-Part II (can get for free online); The MReloaded Theatrical Trailer (again, can get for free online).

I thought it would actually be something nifty, like TV spots/theatrical trailers for Matrix Revolutions. Of course the included 'Extras' on DVD 2 that I bought at BB today is rather skimpy. Like some others have said before, I smell a 'Deluxe Matrix Trilogy' coming out next spring that will sell for over $80; and actually have all the extras we deserve on today's release.

Just got the backordered notice, I think this is the 3rd time BB has screwed a deal for me.
Usually they just cancel the order. This time it's backordered, but I bet they cancel this one eventually as well if I dont myself. Whats the point in this deal (PRE-ORDER!!!) if I have to wait for something I can get for 4$ more right now?
This is just more evidence of thier dishonest marketing practices, when I call to cancel this order Im cancelling my whole account there and never ordering anything there EVER again. No big loss since I never actually recieved any items from them that I ordered. Big ol waste of my time.

Received an email yesterday saying mine was shipped out and it provided me with a tracking number. Was sent via usps so I should be receiving it in the mail anytime now. I've never had usps take more than 3 days for transit time, usually it hangs around 2 days.

How did they screw you? You're still getting the item, you're still saving $5. If you must have it now you shouldn't have ordered it online.

Bestbuy shipped a DVD to me via USPS and it took nearly 10 days once...

I waited till yesterday to order and set it for store pickup. They sent me an email at about noon saying the store wasn't open yet and they were waiting to confirm that it was in stock. Got an email this morning at about 8:30 saying everything is there, come pick it up. I also got Scarface, Usual Suspects, and the first Matrix.
Didn't get the five dollars, but it's no big deal. Sure that would've been 10% of my order, but I have more important things to do at work then keep refreshing a website and dumping cookies until I can get $5 off of an order.

Yes but when they spend $300 on a video card, it's usually a $400 video card or more. $5 is $5. You should learn the value of money.

Mine shipped from IL today. It says it could take 7-10days which is insane. It's not like I'm in a rush to see it again but it would be nice if Best Buy took their service as seriously as the other companies out there. I pre-ordered Two Towers from Overstock.com. The DVD arrived 2 days after release.

I had called yesterday (while my order was still pending) to see if I could get in-store pickup. The lady said no since the order was already sent to the warehouse. She said there isn't anyway to cancel it or change it. Then again I didn't want to drive there anyways.

Hey, $5 is $5. Hell I would have jumnped on it if it was $3. I wanted this movie but since the closest BB is a 45min drive (one way) I wasn't about to buy it from them. In fact I was just waiting around till I saw it in a store closer. It wasn't something I NEEDED right NOW. When I saw it go down to $10 then I figured what the hell. Now I don't have to go searching for it elsewhere.

Yeah, its all about the percentages... $5 off $15 is 33% off, not a bad deal. I guarantee that if someplace online had a $300 video card at 33% off ($200), it would be sold out in minutes. However, $5 off a $300 video card is only 1.7% off, who gives a flying hump?

i do.. its 5 dollars saved...can go towards something else. if ya buy 10 dvds... ur saving 50 bucks...50bucks can get lots.

I agree 100%. They were selling it as a preorder and they should know how many they can ship on release. AND that "we have seperate inventories" ploy is despicable. If the inventory system on their site shows that it is available then they should be able to change the delivery. Speaking of that.... has anyone tried to get store pickup today?
