Exact same deal. I didnt have key, called them up, was given a key pronto (they then place it on ur file so if you ever lose it, they will just re-give it to you).

Ive actually heard that pretty much no-one who got the DVD version got a CD-Key with it (Fatwallet and my forums)

Sad. I paid for this game and Epic's master server has been down for a day anyways.

Confirmed - server seemed to be down last night, but the night before I played with no problems. I'll try again tonight when I get home from work. Hopefully this isn't some problem with the key...

Dang, this sucks! I can also confirm that the Master Server is down. I just received my copy from NewEgg this morning - key was in the CD case - and no dice. Ah well, time to play some single player for the time being.

Wag, you also grabbed the latest 3355 patch right? I was hoping that would resolve our connection issues, but no avail.

I'm all up to snuff, latest updates, bonus edition, map packs, etc.

Weee. Probably just bad luck we got our games when the server is down. But for over 24hrs? Unacceptable.

People are still playing the original UT ('99). Many even think the original is a far better game than UT 2004 even though they bought UT 2004. The issue is the Capture the Flag game play.

Vehicle CTF is hella fun in UT2004. It also has regular CTF if you like that sorta thing. Don't forget about assault and bombing run as well.

The master server in UT2004 is almost never down. But they did discover a lag problem with it recently and might be working on that. I've been playing UT2004 for over a half a year and it's never been down till today for me so it's just a coincidence it happened when you just bought it.

I play vehicle CTF on the WGS server 66.199.240.83:7777

You can join that even if the master server is down but it is running a ton of mods so you'll have to download those if you want to play on it. Sorry I don't have anymore servers in my favorites so i don't know the IPs of others for you to join. Maybe you can google for UT2004 servers and find the IP of some while they fix the master server.

I sent it to Atari, not GoGamer.

UPDATE: I emailed GoGamer about the missing CD-key, and they sent me a new one in a few hours. I just turned UT2K4 off right now to eat; great game. :thumbsup:

Where extacly did you send the email on the gogamer site Xyclone ? I sent them an email through there customer service last week and still have nothing. I even called friday and the guy told me to email them. But I still havent gotten anything. If i wasnt in the process of waiting for the rest of the parts for my system i use for gaming id be kinda pissed, hehe.
