Man, am I glad I got in on this deal over this weekend cause I bought 3 phones. Glad I didn't wait like I was planning to and it saved me $150. These are great little phones. Does anyone know if I'll be charged for using the builtin web browsing feature of this phone? It gives me a message when I try to access the browser stating that there will be a charge, or does it just use the included minutes?
Verizon charges for its "Mobile Web" service, which is basically using their WAP gateways to translate web pages. You can set up a new profile, using the free Waptunnel gateway. Set the IP address to 207.232.99.109 and the port to 9201. This service will just use your airtime minutes.
