Call the number (wait for the CSR) and ask about the status. My CSR read from a screen as to the reasons for the cancellation, and then offered me a $10 coupon for my next purchase. I said what about $20, since I heard that others were getting that. So that's what I'm getting!!

$20 is $20.

Too bad I hesitated on the Gateway deal, though.

i called- although my order is still standing, and asked what was going on. i told the lady i was hesitant to get a money order (my method of payment) for such a high amount when i wasn't absolutely sure that the order wouldn't be cancelled by the time they received it.
she said to hold off getting and sending the m.o. until a week or two before the shipping date, to be sure the order wasn't cancelled.

well my order is now gone or cancelled, it was there yesterday and today around 3 pm central time but now is gone. i dont know what amazon is thinking or doing, i have been a good customer to them placing several orders.

Man... I am getting the same message too. Orders being cancelled. I do not know if they are cancelling it just because of the pricemistake or if they reallly will not be receiving anymore. Misleading advertising about order first to get it first...

I called and was told the order was cancelled due to supply problems, ie they could not get it. Now even the higher price says not in stock. They also said they sent me a cancellation email, which I never got, yet I got confirmation/shipping, etc. emails for other products in the past. I was not offered anything for my trouble and when I asked to speak to a supervisor, the moron tells me theres nothing he can do, I would have to call corporate. When I asked him if there's nothing he can do, then what is he there for. What an ass.....

As long as Amazon has item cheaper than elsewhere on item I want they will get my business. People boycotting them over this is rather silly since bargain hunters have no loyalty anyways.

I'm just waiting for some guy to say he received his 20 vid cards and everyone here goes ballistic or calls bs.
Makes me glad I got in on the CC pricematch for the 128mb version. I would of been pissed if I passed up on that to find out this deal was cancelled.

Mine got cancelled as well, but Amazon did send me an email notification that they cancelled due to insufficient quantity. Oh well, better luck next time.

Well they cancelled my order @ 715p Pacific time. I had placed it on March 5th about 7am. The lame email is misleading. They never had any or essentially none "in stock". The orders were to be filled from an anticipated shipment from VisionTek. Although my order may have been over this limit, it is more likely that they are trying to weasel out of this great advertised price. I'm going to to call and tell them just what I think. Please do the same . I think Amazon should feel some heat and not lay down that "we value your business" B.S. so lightly. :|:disgust:

I emailed Visiontek about whether this card was being distributed anymore. If it is available, then Amazon would be renegging on a deal that it could be able to fulfill. Did anyone take a screenshot of the $218? I forgot. Please PM me, if you will.

i ordered mine at 3:30 PM! and why is mine still standing??? if i were one of you who had ordered before me and now has a cancelled order, i would be so peed off! they are so full of crap. they made a mistake on the price, and now they don't want to do the honest thing, and honor the price they advertised.

Got my 'no more units in stock' cancellation email as well. I ordered mine quite early too, only about 3 hours after this thread had been created. Oh well, you win some you lose some. Not the first time I've had a deal cancelled from Amazon, and probably won't be the last either.
