hey, if you got it for 299.99 from them and now it is 199.99 , you can go to them and ask them to price match it. I did this.

In most cases unless you can find a really stupid CSR, BB is not going to PM to their $199.99 price because their net price last week vs the $199.99 price was the same after the MIR and they WILL use the rebate in the PM evaluation. Even if you were lucky enough to get a PM, they will void the original sale and you will not be ale to get the MIR because the new sales ticket will not be dated within he rebate preiod. You will also ruin your AMEX PM because AMEX will notify BVG that a credit was applied back to your CC toward this transaction. Even if BVG has already paid you for your claim before you do the BB PM, AMEX will simply add any over payment back to your card acount as per their stated policy on returns after a paid BVG claim.

This was for the 2mb cache drive, correct? Nice deal, but I'd rather have the 8 mb cache drive. BTW.. Does anyone have a link for the 8 mb drive that is cheaper than what Dell was selling it for, so I can use the AMEX BVG?

If I hadn't known better, you could have fooled me by these BS statements.

Lets say I am exchanging a drive I got because it is defective. They will credit my card for that order number, and then will charge it again. But because there is that credit, won't AMEX notice and think that I returned the item and charge me for the paid BVG claim already on the drive?
