<< BVG: Yeah, ure missing one thing-- a brain. As said earlier, DONT F*CKING PM THE MOMENT YOU BUY THE PRODUCT. Jeez. Always wait -- this not only allows them to NOT get a thousand calls on one product at once , but also lets the prices drop some. Confirm the next day, they will tell you if they got your fax. That reminds me, i have to go call and PM my amd 1900+ purchased on feb 4th. $219-$155=$64. Good things come to those who wait. >>
You're missing something too.. The BVG is over at the end of the month. You probably know that though. I certainly would've waited to submit my claim if it wasn't. It's not like I'm screwing anything up for anyone because the deal is already going away probably because plenty of others before me have done this very same thing. Geez.. Edealinfo.com advertised the crap out of this card because of the BVG. Do you think AMEX will have second thoughts on getting rid of the BVG if I wait a couple of weeks before I submit my claim?
Besides, $113 is cheap for this drive and if I do get approved and get the rebate, I'll be plenty happy with $38 + $5 shipping for this drive. The reason behind me submitting it so quickly is because I want to know if I'm going to be approved for this and if I'm not, I'll be returning the drive. Hopefully, I'll get an approval before the 14 days are up on when I can send in the MIR. If I don't get the price match, it's just an average deal at best and not really worth keeping.
BTW.. I'd love to get in on what you did with the XP chip. I'm about to buy an XP 1900+ myself. I just wish I had the luxery of waiting 60 days for the price to drop on it before submitting my claim. I was a little late getting my card though.

PS.. I'd better not wait until the very last day to submit my claim on the chip I'm going to buy. I might be SOL trying to get through to a AMEX rep because I'm guessing that they'll be loaded up with last minute BVG's.
