alright, it's a bit tricky but it should work... u go to BB and buy xbox, splinter cell, and mech assault, don't open anything... u get it pmed @ BB for walmart's xbox splinter cell and mech assault package... link here linky poo

if u get it pmed, u get all 3 for 180-6 dolars for the 10 percent pm... then u take the 2 games to gamestop still sealed... and they should give u 60 back and the final math is:
180+30+30 for xbox and 2 games
-66 for pm and 10 percent
-60 for the returned games
=final price of 114+tax

edit: i don't understand how i'm going below the belt, u are giving them 60 doalrs worth of merchandise, they are gona turn around and cell it for 60 bux... all u're doing is getting the best deal, right? and going to gamestop is totatly legit, they take games as new if they are still sealed
i changed it from returning to a different store w/o receipt to gamestop, that it totaly legitamite... so now there is the deal and u can sleep at night

---

Please do not post this kind of thing on our forums where you even have to ask whether you can sleep at night for doing it. If the question even comes up, you should know it is wrong.

returning without receipt for the sole purpose of cheating the vendor is pretty low.

Yeah, this is as bad as PMing a PM... I heard people go back and forth between stores that do the 10% PM. I guess you can eventually get the item for almost free, provided they don't catch you, and you can live with yourself...

Using a loophole isn't exactly a hot deal. They will eventually close the loophole so nobody will accept any return without receipts. And that will be bad.

"Mr. Simpson, have you ever known flashing red lights to be a good sign?"

"What's the siren for?"

"That's in case I go blind."

Exactly the case with this "hot" deal....

I have a better deal... just go steal from them, you get anything you want for FREE.

LOL! I like that! The biggest difference is that company will have to sell 4 items to make the same amount of money instead of selling the original two. This screams scam all over it. See you in Cell BLock D.

I dont see what the big deal is...

Walmart has a deal for an Xbox + 2 games for $180

Instead of buying the deal from walmart you buy it from best buy to save 6 dollars.
Then if you dont like the 2 games you trade them for 2 other games or some other thing that costs the same amount...
Its not like they are losing money at all... they just have to sell those 2 games instead of the other 2 games or the other item that costs the same amount...

The only thing that makes this a sketchy deal is that walmart sells the 2 games inside the xbox package...
Since Best Buy allows the pricematch thats the mistake. When I worked at the sports authority we had to make sure model numbers matched on items before selling them at the 150% price match price...

Best buy is the flaw because they dont sell them as a package... if they want to do the deal they should open the 2 games upon sale of the combination.

Just want to info you guys that the Splinter cell and Mech assault games come with the bundle, both games are w/o wrap and the cover is different than the retail version. Mine actually have the "not for resale" printed on the cover(not a sticker), so I doubt the returning would work, In addition, it is obvious that this is FRAUD

where's the fraud?

Trading stuff into gamestop is now fraud?

Put it this way the PM is YMMV.

There's tons of deals that have come across here that a more cheating than this.

If you return em to gamestop w/o receipt, won't you just get store credit?

yes, u're right, but it's gona b full 30 bux/game credit, 'cuz the games are still sealed... generally gamestop is overpriced in terms of new games, but the new hardware is the same price everywhere, so the 60 can go towards 2 new controlers... and to they guy that said put YMMV in my post, most pm's are YMMV, so i guess that is understood, no offense intended... i'm just too lazy to type it up in a "polite" way...

and to those that are just looking at this and reading why everyone is calling it a scam, it is because it was a pseudo scam, i said return the games sealed to a larger department store (no names), the largest in the world, and they would give u an instore gift card, but people find that to b cheating... so i feel returning it to gamestop is legit...

o and to sweetin this deal up, i forgot to put in that u could buy a green gamers gift card and that comes w/ a 5 dolar coupon... so it could b 109+tax, just tell 'em that u are purchasing videogame software w/ this package and it should go through, but it all depends on the manager, so YMMV
