Perhaps that it was HORRIBLE. Weak plot, bad acting, crappy action.

what are you kidding, this is the best movie in the history, it'll blow away spiderman, that web slinging fool head.. har har.. yeah, especially with that loaded gto, that'll blow any james bond car away, dang man, i'm like vin diesel is like so hott and stuff.. and that snowboard stunt, holy cow, i wish i can be totally like him, call me vin diesel jr, this guy is a babe in fast and furious and now he's even hotter.. holy cow, how could you not love the movie

If you go in expecting it to win awards, you're a fool.

That being said I went in expecting nothing but to be entertained, and while I was it still could have been better. A little too much BS in it for me to enjoy it properly (an avalanche that doesn't knock down a radio tower like it's made out of match sticks? Come on...).

Hopefully the sequels will be better.

I'm sorry but Vin Deisel (that can't be his real name can it?) is a thug. He is not fit to carry James Bond's jock strap. I've yet to hear a good review of this movie and I'll admit seeing "XXX" on the marquee was a little odd.

That said, if you want mind-numbing action and explosions and don't care about three dimensional characters or a plot then this may be the movie for you. If you want a movie that engages you on a visual and intellectual level I'd recommend "Minority Report." This is an excellent sci-fi that was fun to watch and had a great plot.
