true-er hotmail is geat to serve as a destination place for email forwarding. i forward my multiple personal email accounts to hotmail, so i never have to reveal my hotmail addr to internet, and never had spam probelm with hotmail. now with 250mb, it i also good for short-term archiving.Originally posted by: lnvisible1
very true. hotmail is still very convenient with the pop mail. when you have multiple email accounts (school, work, regular), you don't want to have to log in to three different sites. i'm using gmail for storage.

I got dirty spam after activating a hotmail account, never using it or giving it out or posting it anywhere and opting out of all possible HotMail options thereby proving that Microsoft itself had something to do with all the spam I got!!
