I've had this POS e-mail account as my main account since 1997 and I'm still stuck at 2MB. I have 390 e-mails in there and I'm always at around 95% capacity.

I have a couple of accounts at Hotmail, and the only one that has been upped to 250M is the one that was opened 8 years ago; others are newer, and are still at 2M.

They are probably updating server by server. So it might make some difference how long you've been a user, but not much.

no email notice of the actual upgrade. i've been using outlook express and just checked online and saw that i was using 0% of 250 mb.

I have one account that has been converted, and about 7 - 10 days before it happened, I got an email stating that I "should watch for it to happen soon". I also have a couple of other accounts, and those accounts didn't get an email, and have not been converted yet.

I've had my hotmail account since '99 I think. I got the e-mail that said I'd be upgraded "soon" a month or so ago but it hasn't happened yet, so that's no guarantee either.

Well I read the thing and they said it'a happening this fall. I don't really care either way because I don't use the 25MB I got now, except for maybe some attachments.
