I asked Hotmail Support about the upgrades, and this is the reply I got. Blah Blah Blah
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you for writing to MSN Hotmail.
My name is Claire and I am writing in response to your concern on how you could upgrade your Hotmail account.
First of all, I would like to apologize for the delay in responding to your message. Every message that Hotmail receives is very important. Unfortunately, we recently received an extremely high volume of e-mail messages and are working diligently to catch up.
About your concern, I understand that you want your Hotmail account to be upgraded soon. Please be informed that you need not do anything. You will be upgraded automatically.
However, I would like to apologize for the delay in upgrading your account. As you know, MSN Hotmail is upgrading storage limits for customers. With over 170 million Hotmail users, this is going to take some time. Although I cannot provide you with the exact date when this will take place, please be assured that we'll communicate to you once the 250MB is available for free in your market.
Currently, you can enjoy the Virus Scanning and Cleaning of your incoming and outgoing messages as part of the upgrade.
Thank you for your patience towards this matter.
Sincerely,
Claire C.
