Hotter than your mom: Sony DSC F717 for $479+tax

Ritz camera is selling the F717 for $599. Most of the big electronic retailers like bestbuy, circuit city or good guys are selling it for $799. 110% price match will result in $579. then theres the $100 rebate from sony. i did it today at circuit city. i think thats a pretty good price.

Good thing I didn't buy this cam when it first came out $1000. Not a bad deal for a great camera. It's hard to believe that 5.4mp is soon gonna be outdated.

I bought one almost a year ago (Dell deal, paid ~$580) and it is an incredible camera! I would recommend this camera over any other non-SLR digital camera out there for anything even close to the price. I've gotten some amazing pictures, and some of the special features are really useful for sports photography.

My friend has this camera and I know it is a GREAT camera. However, I prefer the compact camera that can fit in pocket, especially for hiking/backpacking (save about 1 lb).

the price is in store and not in ritz camera. the guy that worked there told me they wont be restocking it anymore because sony has stopped making it.
