I just got my first issue. This magazine SUX! It's like a Maxim wannabe, only their writers have no talent. Their joke section is really bad, their gadget section looks like they just opened a Best Buy ad and copied everything down, their models look like hookers...I even found spelling mistakes and grammer problems in their news stories. Blah.

Now Maxim, THAT'S a magazine (getting that free too )

Doesn't this sound like a great way to get peoples mailing addresses for future promotion material? You fill out the questionare, give them your mailing address, and then they claim you can't get the magazine in your area. Now they have your address and you're going to get promotion stuff from other crap you never wanted.

By the way, I just added a new private email address with my ISP and I haven't sent one piece of mail with it, but I have already received one piece of SPAM. I'm getting angry with this marketing crap now.

so far the only free subscription that's ever shown up is...

TV Guide. Which I was quite surprised to find sitting in my mailbox a couple days ago. I had completely forgotten about ever signing up, and even though I have no real use for it, I suppose it's nice that it's free lol.

I just got an email with the following:

Thank you for using FHM Free Business Magazine Center. Your questionnaire responses have been forwarded for publisher approval. The publisher reserves the right to accept or reject all subscriptions. Qualification is not determined by FHM Free Business Magazine Center. If you have subscribed to a particular title for the first time, please allow 6-8 weeks for processing before your issues begin arriving. ........"
So it looks like it when through something FHM. Several months ago I signed up for Playboy through this company and thought it'd never come, then one day I opened my mailbox and there was some magazine in black polybag, and sure enough it was a Playboy . I'm sure it'll work, but it does take FOREVER to recieve your free issues.
