ATTWS does suck- their Siebel debacle totally sucked. i was trying to log into the website to check my minutes, which is how i got to talking to a custsvc rep - the website is b0rked.
custsvc sez:
if you make any changes to your existing ATTWS plan now, until midnite of the 14th, you would need to recommit to 1 year. after that term, you would be month to month, and i speculate that they would be disinclined to keep providing you service w/o a contract - they would probably offer you a cingular contract.
from the 15th on, there will be no changes to existing ATTWS contracts. they will require you to start a new Cingular plan. if you make a rate plan change, you will keep your existing contract end date.
it seems that ATTWS does not intend to make changes to existing plan terms, so this deal may be cold - there may not be an easy out.
at midnite on the 14th they will integrate the cingular and attws systems - lets hope it goes better than the ATTWS Siebel number portability fiasco.
lastly, this thread is pretty dead, but for the record, the title does suck.
