My board is deactivated at the moment. But they are shipping out RMAs, just got mine yesterday.

If you absolutely value 100% stability above anything else, then you should look at workstation class hardware and not enthusiast hardware (except for PSUs).

After too much research, worrying, being wishy-washy, and not seeing much change in the availability of boards; I decided the best choice was the Asus Sabertooth P67. Seems to have higher quality caps and hardware like the other high-end Asus boards. I don't have any extra PCI/PCIex cards so the expansion slots are notmuch concern, and I don't plan on going SLI anytime soon, so no reason to go Deluxe. Picked up an extra 50mm fan for the shroud hole in the Sabertooth motherboard since it was only $5 extra.

It's ironic how we all sit here and compain about $20 extra for the next motherboard up in the product line, and then drop $60-80 on filling up our car/trucks with gas. So I spent $219 instead of the $180 I was trying to budget. Screw it.

I think you would be a perfect candidate for this motherboard. Its supposed to be made military grade for stability. Its not the best overclocker known to mankind, but it will overclock, and is designed for stability.

It also gets nice reviews...

I'm using the P8p67 deluxe, and it is running well, now that I have the new B3 motherboard.


As far as getting a MB, I've always been under the notion of buying the MB local. There are so many facets to the motherboard, that if there is an issue, this is the component that will probably be your trouble... I have a microcenter local, so that helps.

My P8P67 Pro has been rock solid so far. No setup issues, great OC and no stability issues.

Same here, P8P67 Pro since January, replaced with the B3 edition a few weeks back. Have not experienced a crash with either.
