How are these headphones?

I am looking at getting these headphones. Does anyone have an opinion on them? I know you can get some good ones for more money, but $30 is tops on what I want to spend. I want some of the big kind so that noise does not leak out of them, so not to bother anyone around me. Any opinions on thses would help, or reccomendations for another pair that looks better.

If you want a good pair of fairly cheap headphones try Sony MDR-V300's. I bought a pair for travelling and they're great for use with portable cd and mp3 players. They don't sound as good as more expensive headphones but for the price I guarantee they sound much better than the Aiwa's. I have those exact headphones and I'm EXTREMELY pleased. I personally feel the audio quality is very good. The bass response is superb and the highs are nice and crisp. Those are my own opinions and not everyone will agree with me. I feel for the price, they're damn nice.

Garret, sorry for not specifying. I was referring to the Aiwas. Those Philips headphones look interesting, but I've never had any experience with them. One thing I'd like to note is that the Aiwas have a 10ft cord vs a 5ft cord with the Philips. The Aiwas also have a gold-plated jack and come with a 1/4" gold-plated adapter to fit into a receiver's headphone jack. I use mine with my Audigy's breakout box on the front of my computer. Very nice of Aiwa to include the converter.

That 10 foot cord makes that very tempting. I do like the philips folding up though. Will have to think about it...

Went for the aiwa, the philips were not at my target. Great sound, good bass. The 10 foot cord I have already found to be very nice. This pair I got also has a mute button on the left ear piece. As long as I am the only one who knows about it, I am sure that will be very handy.
