wasssup: my Dakota handles suprisingly well. I live in the Sierra Nevada foot hills, so the local straight piece of road is known a the freeway. 10% grades are common, most turns are blind (so I can rarely take them at max speed), and to drive it quickly you need to do one of two things: have a car with a wide torque curve, or shift every 5 seconds. I can leave it in third and just pull out of corners and let it drag me down into them. I can wag the tail on a whim, between the tall sidewalls and the long suspension travel I can hammer it over bumps and uneven surfaces. The LSD and wide tires let me drive on soft surfaces with ease. I personally love the straight axle+body on frame+RWD chassis dynamics. I just wish the front springs were stiffer. Only ran me about $20k new. For me, it's the ideal vehicle.
