How big is your TV and how close are you?

Im not sure i can quantify it with anything tangable other than to say it just seems a bit too big. Dont get me wrong, its visually stunning in all its glory, but perhaps thats what i am seeing, something a bit too enveloping. I prefered our 46" we replaced as a good size. Who knows though, if i were to go back to a 46", id probablly think thats too small now. What i do know for sure though is that i would not want something larger.

Currently, Panasonic 50" plasma @ 720, but the new 65" Panny plasma will be delivered next week. Viewing distance is about 10 -12 feet. I'd LOVE to get closer, but it makes the room seem way too crowded when I move the chairs that close.

Once you sit at proper viewing angle/distance there is no going back.

Most do not. View at proper distance for screen size that is.

That's a crazy small abode you have there. But yeah, projector. It's hard to go back to a TV after experiencing a HT. It's like a non-stop orgasm when watching football on Sundays.

40" TV, about 10 feet away from my preferred seat. I'd like a 60" for that spot, but that's a lot of money for something I don't need.

I'd like to move this one closer, but the base is too deep for my mantel, which has a mirror mounted on the wall above it. Removing the mirror from the wall is going to be a mess, ain't happening.

no complaints :thumbsup: just invested in a nice sound system to go along with it, but I can't go too crazy living in an apartment.

my stock options got bought out last year. buying the new TV was my gift to myself before putting the rest of the money into my retirement account.
