How can I look older?

People usually think I'm like 14 even though I'm 22 going on 23. It's actually really anoying. I doubt there's really anything I can do, but maybe I'm missing something. Anything I can do to look older? Does working out more help? I do go to the gym but not really that often, maybe twice a week. Should I eat more fatning food to buff up?

I also get occasional zits, should I take care of them, or allow a few to stay? I have stuff that I can use but I'm afraid getting rid of all of them will just give me "baby face".

Should I join hockey? Maybe a black eye, some cuts and bruises will make me look rougher and older? I'm grasping at straws here.

The only good thing about looking young is if I screw something up at work people will give me more benefit of doubt thinking "he's just a student"

I was thinking that too, that's why for now I've just been taking care of removing them. (I don't have a lot, just a few that tend to pop up here and there).

I thought of fashial hair, as I do have to shave every day so it would not take long to get it, but I find it looks messy. Though it may be the easiest way.

Facial hair thing really depends. I'm the type of guy who gets lame, patchy facial hair so it would only serve to make me look like a young guy trying to look older.

I find that about half of people think I look much older than I am and the other half think I look much younger. No one ever guesses my age right within +- 2 years for some reason.

I never clean shave. I trim as close as possible. For some reason, that little tiny bit of stubble makes me look a lot older. I look 12 if I'm clean shaven.

Hmm that's probably my problem. I've always been single, and lived a relatively stress free life outside of school. Now that I've been working 2 years full time I forget what stress even feels like. I have it too easy. Maybe buying my first house will stress me enough to age me. Hopefully this summer I find something.

Same here. I'm 27 but people usually place me closer to 21, if even that.



Maybe you could start drinking Draino or something like that and hope it makes your hair fall out. Early baldness would probably add a few years to your perceived age.
