How clean is your cubicle/office/workspace floor?

I don't have a cubicle or office...but the spare bedroom where my "home office" is located is clean enough that I don't have a problem with implementing the "5 second rule."

They vacuum each night. They steam or shampoo the carpets on a semi regular basis. It's pretty clean.

Also, the windows which stretch along one side of my cube are always clean. I can see the lake (ok, retention pond), as well as the geese that shit all over the place.

I don't have one, but if I did, it would be a disaster by most accounts. I keep stuff out, and scattered in various piles that are only intelligible to me. If I were in charge of vacuuming my box, it wouldn't be done as much as it would if cleaning people regularly did it, but I'd eat something off the floor as long as it wasn't ice cream; but then I'm not a germophobe either :^D

my home office desk is where I spend 90% of my day... and night. That means shit will get dirty and I only clean once a week. I have one of those chair mats so if a Cheetoh falls, I'm still gonna eat it. Carpet, not so much.

It's carpeted and they are vacuuming it right now.

The vacuum it every other day, it's pretty clean. I wouldn't eat anything of the carpet, though, it might pick up fibers.

Our dipshit management decided last week that the only thing allowed in cubes would be laminated documents directly related to work, and family photos. Pissed me the hell off, so I took down everything in my cube and it's pristine now. Well, except for the dust. Cleaning guys aren't allowed to touch our cubes for some reason and I only dust about once a quarter.

Engineering office. There are wires and boxes and such on the desks, and a few on the floor. The cleaning lady is reportedly intimidated by the room. She usually empties the trash cans, but we generally need to sweep and vacuum the room ourselves from time to time. (It's fun, 4 people jammed into a small office. It's ok, engineers don't require any space. )
