did you know that in the early part of colonization there were white slaves, indian slaves and black slaves?
did you know that economics is the prime reason why black slaves became so prevalent?
did you know that some wanted to include abolishing slavery during the making of the union but couldn't?
did you know that the civil war was actually about a power struggle of two radically different economic systems and not really about moral issues of slavery?
did you know that slaves were treated "nicely" and "taken care of" not because slave owners were nice and friendly but because slaves were an expensive investment?
did you know that the people in the northern states treated blacks like crap, and even more so after the civil war when blacks took up all the cheap jobs?
