It's not an exaggeration to say that Obama will have achieved absolutely nothing - his whole legacy depended on Clinton winning. His two "accomplishments" are Obamacare and the Iran Deal. Once those are repealed it will be like he never even happened - everything else he did, he did through executive order so they will vanish with the new President. Obama meant to change the scope of history, but instead 8 years of "Hope" are going to just be a footnote in the history books.

Globalist politicians thought they were building a New World Order that would last forever, and it has collapsed right in front of them by the hand of populism. Brutal.

If you really thought that through, I'd suggest you need a brain-transplant. The popular vote-count is a measure of "representation." If he represented anything, it was the dark, lower underbelly of the American character which his supporters rush to deny while clinging to their myth of American Exceptionalism.

If you want to look at this value-free, as would Machiavelli, Obama had to weigh (a) the chances of a Dem victory, (b) the smears and charges that he tried to manipulate the election in her favor, (c) National Security and (d) his confidence that the system would ultimately work -- provided that the Opposition shows any sign of having Better Angels in their Nature.

Obama burned every ounce of his political capital to get his signature legislation passed by hook or crook using the reconciliation process...he poisoned the well and it's been downhill ever since.

Anyway, I was listening to NPR this morning and they had a guest on who recently briefed Trump on ACA and possible paths forward. Reading between the lines it appears that Trump is considering a form of universal healthcare so that preexisting conditions can be covered in a fiscally responsible manner. I don't know how real this is, but that was the impression I got from the interview. We'll see.
