How did you land at Anandtech?

My friend referred me to the Hot Deals forum. We were college students. And it was back when they were giving out free stuff on the internet left and right (mostly t-shirts). I then wandered into OT and a few other forums for help with building and overclocking my computers. Then I joined Team AnandTech SETI.

i'm sure it was through some internet search using webcrawler or altavista. i can't remember the specifics, but my main tech sites were here, toms hardware, and a forum held on delphi call "the lab" or somthing like that.

i was probably trying to figure out how to get that last 50mhz out of my k6-II 500 in a stable manner...

my first computer was built from a guide from Tom's Hardware. they mentioned this site there. for a long time i just read the articles. i then joined and didn't post for a year. and then it came for me.

Learn about computer at Toms Hardware. Expands my research through here when they still got the old forums. Mostly lurked out in the Hot Deal forum and finally registered to rave/rant about some of the crazy hot deals at the time. Move over to OT when Hot Deal drained all my pennies and then some. As you can see from my post count, I mostly lurk around and only posted when I think I am being funny, smart, an ass, bore out of my mind, or anything that catch my fancy. I got to admit, the last few hundred posts have being mostly nef.
