How did you last die?

Mine would be from last night playing MW2. However, I don't actually recall my last death from last night. When you die as often as I do, they start to blend together into one gigantic death.

Dragon Age - finally got around to finishing the game with my mage this weekend. Was crusiing through clearing the city of darkspawn at the end game.

Trying to enter the citidel, and I'm only paying half attention to it, and letting my teammates do whatever they want.

Then I noticed only me and Leliana were alive, which changed when Leiliana went down 2 seconds later. I had forgotten just how many of thiose darkspawn mage lieutenants were guarding those stairs.

Retrying it took about 30 seconds and some liberal use of ae elemental spells. How embarrassing :\

My party members and I were all at low health, and then the Emissary threw a fireball at us. Boom.

Obviously you can die while playing video games. You can go anytime. I just meant that I was unaware of the fact your character can die in a video game. This has never happened to me, and I have to say that at first I was a bit skeptical, but after I read all these stories here, I can hardly dispute it.

Installed the expansion for Anno 1404 (Venice) last night, started a "continuous game". Five hours later I branch off my main island to work on getting some resources from elsewhere. After putting a good 20-30 minutes of work into the island, I check back at my main for some wood...and 70% of the city is in flames!! Ahh!

Saddened, I decided to take a break from games for the rest of the week.

Most modern games are console centric which means they have to pussify it. Darn near impossible to get whacked nowadays unless you play online MP. Then SOMEBODY has to die so someone else gets that glorious feeling of murder.

Nah, I was just being a douche. Somewhere I listed Demon's Souls as one of my favorite PS3 games, so at least someone knew I was kidding.

Seriously though, if you play every single player game you buy on Easy, you may never die. Even on Normal and Hard, many games are just plain easy.

Me: shoots dance party, suicide, -10pt.

Counter sniped by a helmet cammer. He was hiding behind/inside a chimney on Arica Harbor Rush, BF:BC2, and he had just killed me for the thrid time, I switched sniping locations each time, just as soon as my head popped up, freaking Boom-Headshot.

So, I decided to snipe him with a Hellfire missile from the UAV.
