one day at a basketball game i was messing around with my friends. we were just tlaking and somehow me and one other friend decided to walk up to this group of guys in front of us, all guys who despite being in our grade and one grade above us we hardly knew, and I asked them if they were circumsized. they all thought i was nuts ;x but afterwards we started seeing this same group of guys hanging out around "uptown" [[about a three block radius in the center of my town that everyone hangs out at during their 7th grade- junior yr years]]]. we started talking and i kept talking a kid named pete (mainly about his friend jeff that was also in that group that i had a huge crush on). Nothing ever went anywhere tho cause I had a boyfriend at the time. i soon started needing tutoring lessons cause i was flunking sophomore english (( goddddd did i hate analogies)). So i enlisted the aid of pete who was a very good student. National honors society, somewhere in the 3.9GPA range, dork all around who liked star wars and loved his computers and rather quiet. Meanwhile I was opposite. I was averaging about a 3.4ish GPA, hated being indoors with computers, loathed star wars, loved to be out with friends partying/raves, very loud and outspoken, etc....anywayy... i started going to tutoring. and began talking to pete. one day he asked me if i wanted to hang out. so i went to his house to watch a movie and we took his cute puppy for walks in the park. then a few days in he started playing footsie witrh me while tutoring me!.. i wound up breaking up with my boyfriend for specific persoanl reasons (nothing to do with other guys or nething). so i started hanging out with pete a bit more. about two weeks after breaking up with old boyfriend of abotu a year ;x Pete got up the nerve to kiss me (in which i totally ruined the moment by stopping him and asking him if he knew what this was going to do to our friendship god. maybe i was a nerd a back then and just didnt see it). Then two days later he asked me out and i said yes. it was hard at first because our freinds didnt mesh at all. hell we hardly meshed ;x then again ,opposites attract? we hardly saw eachother the first few months. i could recall about 2 months into our relaitonship i saw him at this powderpuff football game our school had. i was with my friends, he was with his, and when he walked past we just waved at eachother and that was that. things got easier. i changed a bit; he changed a bit. i still loathe star wars, but we're still tgoether 5 years and about 2 months later.
As for other signifant others - i met them thru friends; in classes at school; or at school related sports events at schools in neighboring towns.
