Can't you just walk in to about any department store in the states and pickup a gun? Worse case scenario they might ask for ID, but do they even do that? Buy other stuff too so it looks more like an impulse purchase. Buy the ammo separately.
Failing that, super soaker + dangerous chemical of your choice. Battery acid is kinda mean, it can blind them, so I'd probably go with something flammable and just set them on fire.
No you cant. Contrary to what the anti gun nutters would like you to believe. Try to purchase a handgun from any store and there is automatically a background check run somewhere in the process. In Michigan where I live if you plan on purchasing a handgun from any store that sells them pencil in at least 2 hours to complete the process. I already have a cpl so I get to skip the purchase permit process. Takes even longer if you don't have a cpl.
