Plus what place do you work that pays close to 13 bucks an hour as a waitress.

I work at a sushi restaurant and get to keep 50% of my tips + 7.50/hr.

Why can't you just find a place to move in with a couple of girls?

Because this place is the closest and cheapest I could find near the school I go to.

Hmm... if they decide not to pay for my car insurance or cell phone bills anymore, I still think I would be able to pay for those. My car insurance only costs $900 a year, and my cell phone bill costs ~$50/month. I go to a community college so tuition is only a couple hundred a semester.

Did they buy the car?

If you're going to pull an "I'm moving out whether they like it or not," it's nothing but a kiddie temper tantrum if you don't also toss them the keys to your car, and say, "Nice ride."

That aside, co-ed roommates is no big deal. I did it for a year in college and my current roommate is a female.

Parents are probably worried about you getting raped, beaten, or abused by this guy. How long have you known him, and do your parents know him? If you have not known him very long and the parents have never met him then I can see their issue. I am not a parent just a guy in late his late 20's, but there are plenty of dirty shady guys out there.

And yes he does want to have sex with you.

I don't think you can count it to be the cheapest. Something tells me, that if you add the costs of car insurance ($900/year, buying your own policy will be much more, hope that they let you pay just your portion on THEIR policy), $50/month*12 = $600, plus ~$500/year for community college tuition, and what about health insurance, lets figure another $70/month (very conservative, student high deductible policy)=$840. These costs total $2840/year, or another $236/month. Something tells me that keeping your parents happy and just living with girls would be better. Besides, they might be extra nice and give you the difference in price for them to live with roomates they approve of.

Ok, you're going to a community college. So what happens in a year when you're done? Are you planning on going to a 4-year college or do you plan on just getting the associates? If you plan on going to a 4-year, then what you are doing is a disaster.

Tell them you're gay.

All I know is somebody should be gay for the parents to accept this decision.

Heck, tell your parents that all three of you are gay and you are there to support one and another's decision to be gay.

Really though, the gayness is played out too much. Your parents will likely sense that's made up.
